APPSC Group 4 Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must check their eligibility before applying for the APPSC Group 4 examination. The eligibility criteria include age limit and educational qualification, as prescribed by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC).
Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for APPSC Group 4 posts must fulfill the following educational requirements:
- Must be a Graduate from a recognized University approved by the Central or State Government, or incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature.
- Must have passed the Computer Efficiency Test conducted by the District Collector.
Age Limit

APPSC Group 4 Exam Pattern 2026
The APPSC Group 4 examination is conducted in three stages: a Screening Test, a Mains Examination, and a Computer Proficiency Test (CPT). The detailed exam pattern for each stage is provided below.
APPSC Group 4 Screening Test
The screening test carries a total of 150 marks and is conducted in an objective (MCQ) format. The exam consists of two sections and has a duration of 150 minutes. A negative marking of 1/3rd mark is applicable for each incorrect answer.

APPSC Group 4 Mains Examination

- Negative marking of 1/3rd mark is applicable for every wrong answer.

APPSC Group 4 Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)
The Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) is the final stage of the APPSC Group 4 selection process. This test is qualifying in nature, and only candidates who clear the Mains Examination are called to appear for this stage. The marks obtained in the CPT are not included in the final merit list.
