The AP TET 2025 (Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) is a state-level exam held twice a year to check eligibility for teaching Classes 1 to 8 in Andhra Pradesh schools (Government, ZP, MP, Municipal, and Private). AP TET Results & Score Card 2025
After the examination, the Department of School Education has released the AP TET Result 2025 for Paper 1 and Paper 2 to check the qualifying status of candidates. Candidates will be required to provide their login details to check their AP TET Results and scorecard. AP TET Results have been released online on the official website of www.aptet.apcfss.in. Follow the step-by-step process below to check their result.
- Go to the official website of the Andhra Pradesh TET, www.aptet.apcfss.in.
- Candidates are redirected to the Candidate's Login Page.
- Click on the Result tab.
- A new login page appears on the screen. Enter Candidate ID, DOB (dd/mm/yyyy), and verification code.
- Click on the AP TET 2025 Results Download link.
- Enter your candidate ID or mobile number and date of birth as used at registration.
- AP TET Results 2025 appear on the screen.
- Download and save the result for future reference.

AP TET Score Normalisation Formula
Normalisation is the equalising of marks for candidates who appeared in different shifts, considering the variation in difficulty levels for different shift exams. Normalisation mark of jth candidates in ith shift Mij is given by:

- 𝑴𝒊𝒋 = Normalised marks of the jth candidate in the ith shift.
- 𝑴𝒕𝒈= is the average mark of the top 0.1% of the candidates considering all shifts (the number of candidates will be rounded - up)
- 𝑴𝒒𝒈= is the sum of the mean and standard deviation marks of the candidates in the examination considering all shifts.
- 𝑴𝒕𝒊= is the average mark of the top 0.1% of the candidates in the ith shift. (The number of candidates will be rounded - up)
- 𝑴𝒊𝒒= is the sum of mean marks and standard deviation of the ith shift.
- 𝑴𝒊𝒋= is the actual marks that the jth candidate obtained in the ith shift.
- 𝑴gm𝒒= is the sum of the mean marks of candidates in the shift having the maximum mean and standard deviation of marks of candidates in the examination, considering all shifts.
- Note: Calculation of marks will be up to 5 decimal places.
What's Next After AP TET Results 2025?
Once the AP TET Results 2025 are announced, those who qualified in Paper 1 or 2 become eligible for various teacher posts in Andhra Pradesh. Qualified candidates can then apply for the posts of teachers in the government school of AP by presenting the AP TET Certification 2025, which has a lifetime validity.
Those who do not qualify for the Andhra Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test become ineligible for teachers' posts and must try for this exam next year.
AP TET Minimum Qualifying Marks
The minimum qualifying marks to pass the teacher eligibility test are considered the AP TET Cut-off marks. To receive the AP TET certificate, the candidates must score more than the passing marks as per their category. The minimum qualifying mark for the general category is 60%, for the BC category is 50%, and for the SC, ST, and PWD categories, it is 40%.
Only those candidates who score more than the minimum qualifying marks are declared qualified and issued with an AP TET 2025 certificate. The certificate notifying that the candidate is qualified to apply for teaching positions in public institutions is a crucial document.

AP TET Certificate Validity 2026
Qualified candidates in Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) are provided the AP TET Certificate, whose validity is lifetime. This lifetime validity allows eligible applicants to apply for teacher recruitment notifications, such as DSC (District Selection Committee) exams and other state-conducted teaching vacancies, as long as they fulfill the requirements outlined in the relevant notifications.
