UPTET Answer Key 2026

UPTET is a state-level examination conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching posts at various Government & Government-aided schools across the state. The answer key consists of the correct responses to the questions asked in UPTET Paper-1 & Paper-2. With the help of the answer key, candidates will be able to cross-check their answers, estimate their probable scores, and evaluate their performance. Along with the answer key, candidates may also be allowed to raise objections within a specified timeframe.

The answer key will be released set-wise for both papers (Paper I and II) separately on the official website www.upessc.up.gov.in. The answer key includes the details, including the subject code, Question paper set number, Question number, Correct option, etc. Here we will answer the key as soon as it is released by the officials. 

Steps to Download the UPTET Answer Key 2026?

If you have appeared in the UPTET 2026 exam, then you can download the official answer key using the steps below.

1. Visit the official website of Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) at https://updeled.gov.in/.
2. Now, go to the Candidate Services Section and click the U.P. Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) link.
3. Scroll down and click on the button “UPTET Answer Keys”,
4. Enter your roll number + date of birth. Fill in the security code.
5. Download the answer key for the subject you have appeared in the exam.
6. Cross-check all the responses and calculate the approximate marks
    

How to challenge the UP TET Answer Key 2026?

To raise objection for UPTET 2026 Paper-I & Paper-II, a candidate needs to have the following details:

• Registration Number

• One Time Password

Step 1 –You need to submit your challenges against the UPTET answer key in online mode at the official website i.e. UPBEB.

Step 2 –The provision of challenging the answer key on the UPTET exam will be provided, which further requires payment of Rs 500 through online mode.

Step 3 –This amount will be refunded if the objection raised is found correct.

Qualifying Marks in UPTET 2026

The minimum qualifying marks in UPTET are below as per NCTE norms. You will see that it is the same as the national-level teacher eligibility test, CTET. The minimum qualifying marks details provided in the notification are given below:

Note: There is no negative marking in the UPTET 2026 exam. You will get +1 mark for each correct answer
