UPTET Answer Key 2026 (Out), Download Paper 1 and Paper 2 Response Sheet PDF

Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the provisional answer key for Uttar Pradesh Teaching Eligibility Test 2026 (UPTET) on 8th July 2026. UPTET Answer Key has been released for all candidates who appeared for Paper 1 (Classes 1–5) and Paper 2 (Classes 6–8).

Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 was conducted on July 2, 3, and 4, 2026, in offline (OMR-based) mode across 955 centres across 60 districts. 1770714 candidates appeared for Paper 1 (Primary Level, Classes 1-5) and Paper 2 (Upper Primary Level, Classes 6-8). How to Download UPTET Answer Key 2026 PDF?

Candidates can download the official UPTET Answer Key 2026 using their login details and follow steps.

1. Visit the official UPESSC website — upessc.up.gov.in.
2. Look for the "UPTET Exam Portal" on the homepage.
3. Click on the link labelled "UPTET Provisional Answer Key 2026." and login using your details,
4. Select your paper — Paper 1 (Primary) or Paper 2 (Upper Primary).
5. Choose your booklet series/set code (Set A, B, C, or D) to match your question paper.
6. The answer key PDF will open in a new tab.
7. Download and save the PDF, then take a printout for reference while calculating your score.

Candidates must use the correct marking scheme to calculate their tentative scores while cross-checking their marked answers with the correct ones provided in the answer key. The correct marking scheme for the UPTET 2026 exam is as follows.

• Correct Answer: +1 Mark
• Incorrect Answer: 0 Mark
• Unattempted Answer: 0 Mark

How to Calculate Your Score?

Since UPTET does not have negative marking, calculating your probable score is straightforward:

• Award +1 mark for every answer that matches the official/unofficial answer key.
• 0 marks for incorrect answers.
• 0 marks for unattempted questions (no deduction).
• Add up the total to get your score out of 150 marks (both Paper 1 and Paper 2 carry 150 marks each).

Formula: Estimated Score = (Number of Correct Answers) × 1

How to Raise an Objection Against the Answer Key?

If you find any answer in the provisional key incorrect, you can raise an objection through the official portal within the window specified by UPESSC. Here's how:

1. Visit the official UPESSC website and open the UPTET Exam Portal.
2. Log in using your registration number, password, and the captcha code.
3. Click on the link to file objections against the provisional answer key.
4. Select your question booklet set and enter the question number you wish to challenge.
5. Select the answer option you believe is correct, and add supporting remarks.
6. Upload a clear scanned copy of proof from a standard NCERT or SCERT textbook supporting your claim.
7. Pay the objection fee of approximately ₹500 per question through the online payment gateway.
8. Submit the form. The fee is refunded if your objection is accepted by the subject expert panel.
9. After reviewing all objections, UPESSC will release the final answer key, which will form the basis for preparing the UPTET Result 2026.
