A good news for all government job aspirants who belongs to Uttar Pradesh (UP). The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has released the official notification pdf for UPPSC PCS 2020 exma to recruit the 200 vacancies through Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services and Assistant Conservator of Forest / Range Forest Officer Services Examination-2020. The commission had resumed working on April 20, 2020 and released the UPPSC PCS notification as the the schedule of its calendar. UPPCS is the exam conducting body of UP Government which conducts different examination in the state.

The exam date for UPPSC PCS and ACF/ RFO 2020 exam has been released by UPPSC along with its official calendar but due to uncertainties in the execution of the plan because of the coronavirus pandemic and the consequent lockdown it can be delayed. Educational Qualifications for UPPSC PCS

For the posts included in the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Examination, the candidates must possess Bachelors Degree of any recognised University or equivalent qualification up to the last date for receipt of application. The post wise educational qualification is given below:

11. Designated Officer / Food Safety Officer (1) Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry as one of the subjects from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto, or
(2) Atleast one of qualification prescribed for Direct Recruitment to the post of Food Safety Officer given as below:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Sciences or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology or Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from a recognised University, or any other equivalent/recognised qualification notified by the Central Government, Provided that no person who has any financial Interest in the manufacture, import or sale of any article of food shall be appointed to be a Food Safety Officer.
12. Statistical officer Post Graduate Degree in mathematics or Mathematical Statistics or Statistics or Agricultural Statistics from an university recognized by Law in India or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.
13. Labour Enforcement Officer Bachelor’s degree with Economics or Sociology or commerce and Post Graduate Diploma or Post graduate Degree in Law / Labour relation / Labour welfare / Labour Law / Commerce / Sociology / Social work / Social welfare / Trade Management / Personnel Management.

(2) The male candidates will be required to qualify a walking test of 25 kms. to be completed in Four hours and female candidates of 14 kms. to be completed in 4 hours. The arrangement for conducting this test will be made by the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Uttar Pradesh so as to synchronise with the sittings of the Medical Board.

UPPCS PCS 2020 Exam Pattern

The UPPSC PCS exam is a three-stage exam and the candidates need to appear in the UPPSC PCS prelims exam followed by mains exam & Interview (Personality Test). The prelims exam is an objective type exam comprising two question papers.

The Prelims exam of UPPSC PCS 2020 is an offline mode of examination having 2 papers in different shift. The total marks allotted for each paper is 200 and the total time allotted for the completion of each Paper of Prelims exam is 2 hours.
