TNPSC Group 1 Result 2026, Prelims Merit List and Results PDF

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has successfully conducted the first stage of the selection process, i.e., a prelims exam on 27 September 2026, to recruit eligible candidates for 46 vacancies in various Group 1 posts. The result for the prelims exam will be released in PDF format in October/November 2026 on the official website www.tnpsc.gov.in. The result PDF will include the roll numbers of candidates who will be declared qualified for the prelims exam.

Group 1 (குரூப் 1) – Combined Civil Services Examination–I (Group-1 Services) was conducted to fill 46 vacancies for the posts of Deputy Collector, Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes), Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies, District Registrar, Assistant Commissioner of Labour. Candidates who will be declared qualified in the prelims exam will be eligible to appear for the next stage of the selection process, i.e., a mains exam.

The Main exam is divided into 4 papers, and the total time allotted to solve each paper is 3 hours. The Papers cover conceptual and descriptive questions.
