Just a few days before the release of the JEE Main Result 2025, the National Testing Agency is once again under the microscope. This time, this has happened due to multiple errors that students found in the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Answer Key. The aspirants who appeared in the exam have highlighted around 9 errors in the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Answer Key, sparking anxiety and confusion among aspirants awaiting their results.
Last year, the NTA faced serious backlash from the authorities, coaching institutions, and students due to major discrepancies in major examinations like NEET, CUET UG, and the JEE Main. The credibility of NTA got a major hit after it dropped 12 questions from the JEE Main Answer Key 2024, the highest in exam history. All those errors occurred due to out-of-syllabus questions being asked by the authorities. Hereby, it is noted by the students that the exam syllabus is being announced by the NTA several months before the exam.
Once again, the NTA has been in the limelight, and that too, for all the reasons as the concerns over the transparency, accuracy, and accountability are growing louder. Multiple students also reported that they got several “blank” answers in the JEE Main 2025 response sheet for the answers that they marked in the answer sheet.
Problems Highlighted by Students with JEE Main 2025 Session 2
In the ongoing JEE Main 2025 Controversy, there are many issues highlighted by the students. Some of them are detailed below:
- Some of the questions did not have the correct answer in the options marked ahead, leaving students searching for the right answers
- The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Answer Key had several errors regarding the correct options. This forced students to pay the non-refundable fee of INR 200 to challenge these questions
- There are a minimum of 3 questions in the physics sections that came out of the syllabus, making them feel less prepared and ultimately decreasing their morale.
