PSSSB Patwari Recruitment 2026 Application Fees

After the final submission of the Punjab Patwari application form, candidates have to fill following fees through online mode by using a UPI or Card. PSSSB Patwari Selection Process 2026

The Punjab Services Selection Board has set the Selection process for the Punjab Patwari which is based on the marks obtained in the written examination. A Common Merit List will be created based on exam scores to select eligible candidates. There are some criteria when candidates have the same marks

• If candidates have equal marks, their date of birth will be considered
• The older candidate will have higher merit if their ages are the same
• The candidate with higher educational qualification marks will be given priority.
• If there is still a tie, the candidate with higher marks in 10th will be ranked higher.
• Candidates passing the MCQ exam will be called for counseling to verify their documents.

PSSSB Patwari Exam Pattern 2026

The Punjab Patwari Exam 2026 has a written examination with objective-type questions on various topics. The exam is divided into two parts and both parts should be completed in 150 minutes.

• Part A: Punjabi Language which is qualifying in nature consists of 50 questions, one mark each with no negative marking.
• Part B: Candidates must score a minimum of 50% or 25 marks in Part A, to get evaluated in Part B, In this part candidates will complete the 100 questions with one mark each and there will be a negative marking of 1/4th mark. Part B includes subjects like General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Logical Reasoning, Mental Ability, Punjabi, Punjab History and Culture, ICT.

Punjab Patwari Salary 2026

Selected candidates will, according to the Pay Matrix Scale Level-2 of the 7th Central Pay Commission, candidates given an initial pay of Rs. 19900 per month. During the one-year training period at Patwar School and the six-month field training, candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 5000 per month, as per the Punjab government rules.
