Odisha Teacher Recruitment 2021: Directorate of Secondary Education, Odisha has announced 4619 vacancies for Hindi, Sanskrit, and Physical Education Teachers to be recruited on a contractual basis. DSE Odisha Teacher Eligibility Criteria 

The candidate must hold the required eligibility to apply for Odisha Teacher Recruitment as mentioned in the official notification. Check the education qualification and age limit. 

Education Qualification 

Note: The candidates must have passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PWD/SEBC candidates) from a recognised university or institution. 

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2021)

The candidate must of a minimum age of 21 years and the maximum age should not be more than 32 years. 

Upper Age Relaxation 

1. SC/ST/SEBC/Women: 5 years
2. 2. Persons with Disabilities: 10 years

DSE Odisha Teacher Selection Process

The applicants will be selected on the basis of their performance in the online test for which the exam pattern has been discussed below. 

1. There will be 2 Papers, (Paper-1 will be compulsory for all subjects). Paper-II will be subject-related.
2. There will be 150 MCQs (1 mark each).
3. The duration of the online test will be 150 minutes.
4. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

Minimum Qualifying Marks: As mentioned in the notification, the candidate have to score minimum 25% marks (20% in case of candidates of SC/ST/PWD category) in Paper I and 35% marks (30% in case of candidates of SC/ST/PWD category) in Paper II to get selected for the recruitment process.
