Odisha Police Constable Eligibility Criteria 

The males & females or transgenders are eligible to apply for the Odisha Police Recruitment Process only when they acquire the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

Education Qualification 

1. The candidates who have passed certification for 12th Class in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics of Electronics or Statistics or Computer Science or Information Technology can apply

2. The candidates who have passed a 3-year Diploma Course in Engineering subjects from an institute that is affiliated by State Council for Technical Education & Vocational Training, Odisha or by All India Council for Technical Education / University Grant Commission.

3. The candidate must hold a High School Certificate in Odia language (Mandatory).

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2021)

Minimum Age: 18 years 

Maximum Age: 23 years 

Odisha Constable Selection Process 

The candidates will be selected on the basis of three stages as mentioned below:

1. Computer-Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE)
2. Physical Standard Measurement
3. Physical Efficiency Test

Written Test

The initial stage of the recruitment process is the Computer-Based Recruitment Examination for which the pattern and other important points has been provided below:

1. The written test will be conducted through Computer-Based.
2. The questions will be in English
3. The duration of the written test will be 2 hours (120 minutes)
4. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
5. The difficulty level of Part B will be of the 12th standard

Physical Standards

The candidates who qualify Computer-Based test must check the category-wise and gender-wise physical standards (height, weight, chest) from the below tables.

Physical Efficiency Test

The physical efficiency of the candidates will be examined on the basis of their running speed, for which the following parameter is to be followed. 

Odisha Constable Salary

The basic pay of Odisha Constable is Rs 5200-20,200/- with dearness allowances, HRA, and other perks. The in-hand salary of an Odisha Constable ranges from Rs 26,000 to 28,000 per month. The candidates will be shortlisted on a contract basis but after their training period, they will be recruited on a permanent basis after which they have vast career growth. 

Odisha Constable Admit Card 2021

The Odisha Constable CBRE admit card will be issued to the candidates who have successfully submitted their registration form for the vacancies. The admit card will be uploaded on the official website and will not be sent to the candidates through any other means. As the tentative exam dates are announced from 15 to 20 November 2021, therefore it is expected that Odisha Constable Admit Card can be released by the 1st week of November 2021. 

Odisha Constable Result 2021

Only the eligible candidates who qualify in all the selection stages will be recruited for the post of Constable (Communication). The result for each stage will be published with the names of the candidates who made it to qualify for the next stage. Clearing Computer Based Recruitment Examination is mandatory to appear for Physical Standards Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test.
