3. Search for “Extracts from Govt. Order relating to Recruitment Tests for Constable (Communication), OISF Constable, Civil Constable”
4. Click on“Apply Online” and start filling in the required details in the application form.
5. Scan and upload all the required documents and pay the application fee if applicable.

Odisha Police Constable Eligibility Criteria 2026

The males & females or transgender individuals are eligible to apply for the Odisha Police Recruitment Process only when they acquire the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

Education Qualification 

1. The candidates who have passed certification for 12th Class in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics of Electronics, Statistics or Computer Science or Information Technology can apply

2. The candidates who have passed a 3-year Diploma Course in Engineering subjects from an institute that is affiliated with the State Council for Technical Education & Vocational Training, Odisha or by the All India Council for Technical Education / University Grant Commission.

3. The candidate must hold a High School Certificate in Odia language (Mandatory).

Age Limit 

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 23 years

Odisha Constable Selection Process 2026

The candidates will be selected based on three stages as mentioned below:

1. Computer-Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE)
2. Physical Standard Measurement
3. Physical Efficiency Test

Odisha Police Constable Exam Pattern 2026

The initial stage of the recruitment process is the Computer-Based Recruitment Examination for which the pattern and other important points have been provided below:

1. The written test will be conducted through a computer-based test.
2. The questions will be in English
3. The duration of the written test will be 2 hours (120 minutes)
4. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
5. The difficulty level of Part B will be at the 12th standard

Physical Efficiency Test

The physical efficiency of the candidates will be examined on the basis of their running speed, for which the following parameters are to be followed. 

Odisha Constable Salary 2026

The basic pay of an Odisha Constable is Rs 5200-20,200/- with dearness allowances, HRA, and other perks. The in-hand salary of an Odisha Constable ranges from Rs 26,000 to 28,000 per month. The candidates will be shortlisted on a contract basis, but after their training period, they will be recruited permanently, after which they will have vast career growth. 

Odisha Constable Admit Card 2026

The Odisha Constable CBRE admit card will be issued to the candidates who have successfully submitted their registration form for the vacancies. The admit card will be uploaded on the official website and will not be sent to the candidates through any other means. 

Odisha Constable Result 2026

Only the eligible candidates who qualify in all the selection stages will be recruited for the post of Constable (Communication). The result for each stage will be published with the names of the candidates who made it to qualify for the next stage. Clearing the Computer-Based Recruitment Examination is mandatory to appear for the Physical Standards Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test.
