NICL AO Notification 2018

The notification for NICL AO 2018 is likely to be released anytime soon. A total of 450+ vacancies are expected to release for the post of Administrative Officer (Officers in Scale I cadre). The NICL AO 2018 Online Application Registration will be started after the release of Official notification NICL AO 2018.

NICL AO 2018 Exam Dates

The Exam Dates for NICL AO 2018 (Officers in Scale I cadre) will be released with its official notification. It is necessary for a candidate to clear both these papers to be eligible for the further rounds conducted by NICL.

NICL 2018 Exam Pattern

NICL AO 2018 Preliminary Exam Pattern

A candidate is required to clear both sectional and overall cut-off of NICL AO 2018 Preliminary Exam. It is an online test containing objective type questions.

NICL AO 2018 Mains Exam Pattern

NICL AO 2018 Mains Exam is conducted in two parts: An online multiple objective test and a descriptive test in English.

Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test contains 3 questions asked in English that carries a total of 30 marks and has to be attempted in 30 minutes.

Final Selection: An Interview Process will be conducted for the candidates clearing the Mains Exam to determine the final selection of the candidate to the post of Assistant Officer through NICL AO 2018 Exam.

Penalty for wrong answers

Preliminary Exam: 0.25 marks will be deducted when an answer is marked wrong. No marks will be deducted if a question is left un-attempted.

Mains Exam: 0.25 marks will be deducted for marking a question wrong. There will be no penalty for leaving a question un-attempted.

NICL AO 2018 Syllabus

NICL 2018 Eligibility

Nationality:

A candidate is required to be either:

• A Citizen of India or
• A subject of Nepal
• A subject of Bhutan
• A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Educational Qualification:

• The candidate must have a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a government recognized University or by the Central Government of India.
• A candidate must have at least 60% marks in his/her Graduation. The same percentage criteria is reduced to 55% for SC/ST Candidates.

Age Limit:

A candidate must not be less than 21 years & not more than 30 years old while applying for NICL AO 2018.

NICL AO Admit Card 2018 will be released separately for both Prelims and Mains exam.

NICL Exam Cut Off

The cut-off for NICL 2017 Exam is released after each phase of examination is completed. Candidates can evaluate their selection chances by matching their score with the cut-off list released by NICL.

NICL Exam 2018 Result

The NICL AO 2018 Results will be declared after each phase of the exam is completed. The result for preliminary exam will be declared first followed by the result of mains exam. The merit list will be prepared in the descending order of the marks obtained by candidates in the Mains Exam & final interview round.
