NEET 2023 Registration window will be open until 15th April 2023. Applicants must read the instructions given in the Information Bulletin available on the NTA Website carefully before filling out the NEET (UG) application form 2023. Candidates are advised to be extremely careful while filling in the details in the application Form. Editing/modification of any information before submitting any of the sections is allowed. However, no correction facility ‘including category change’ will be given at any stage after the registration. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate, more than one NEET 2023 application i.e. multiple Application Forms submitted by a candidate will result in the rejection of candidature.

NEET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates willing to appear for the NEET UG 2023 exam must check the eligibility criteria prescribed by the NTA before filling out their application forms. Only the candidates who fulfil the NEET 2023 Eligibility Criteria will be allowed to appear for the exam. Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognized board.

NEET 2023 Exam Pattern (New)

NTA has released the revised exam pattern for NEET (UG) along with the detailed previous year notification. The NEET 2023 exam pattern contains information about the exam pattern, mode, duration, type of questions and marking scheme. Candidates are advised to check the exam pattern of NEET 2023 to be well-prepared for the entrance examination.

Important points

  1. As per the new exam pattern, there will be 2 sections in each subject consisting of 35 questions in Section A and 15 questions in Section B (out of which 10 are optional).
  2. There will be 200 Multiple Choice Questions (out of which 20 are optional).
  3. Each correct question carries 4 marks.
  4. There will be a negative marking of minus one (-1) mark for each incorrect answer.
  5. The total duration of the NEET 2023 Exam is 3 hours 20 minutes (200 minutes).

NEET 2023 Admit Card

Once the examination forms are duly filled and submitted the students can download their Admit Cards on the NTA website on the scheduled date. The NEET Admit Cards might be available three days before the exam date. The admit card for NEET 2023 will be available online mode only.

  1. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the NTA website and also check their e-mails/SMS for the Latest Updates regarding the release of the NEET Admit Card.
  2. Candidates shall appear at their own cost at the Examination Centre on the Date and Timing indicated on their Admit Card issued by the NTA.
  3. Any request to change the Examination Centre, Date and Time provided on the Admit Card shall not be considered under any circumstances.
  4. Candidates are advised to take 6-8 Passport size and 4-6 Post Card size (4”X6”) coloured photographs with white backgrounds.
  5. The photographs are to be used for uploading on the Online Application Form, for examination and also for Counselling/Admission.

2. Enter the application number, date of birth and security pin.

3. Click on “Submit”.
