MAHA TET Hall Ticket 2026, New Exam Date Soon

Maharashtra State Board of Examination has postponed the exam date for Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (June 2026), and the new exam date will be released at the official website https://mahatet.in/. The admit card will be released 10 days before the exam date. Candidates who have applied successfully for the exam can now download their admit cards by using their login details, i.e., their mobile number and form number.

1. First, visit the official website of the Maharashtra State Board of Examination, www.mahatet.in.
2. Under the important notice section on the homepage, click on the link that reads "Mahatet (2026) - Click here to download admit card".
3. A new login page appears on the screen.
4. Enter valid login details, युजरनेम/User Name and  पासवर्ड/Password
5. Enter the captcha code and click on Login.
6. The MAHA TET Admit Card 2026 appears on the screen.
7. Download it and keep it for future reference.

MAHA TET 2026 Exam Timings

Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test Paper I and Paper II will be conducted on the same day, i.e., on 21st June 2026 (Sunday). Paper 1 for classes 1st to 5th will be conducted from 10:30 am to 1 pm, and Paper 2 for Classes 6 to 8 will be held from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

Documents Required to Carry the MAHA TET Exam 2026

MAHA TET Exam Pattern 2026

Before appearing for the MAHA TET examination, candidates are advised to refer to the official exam pattern, which helps in strategizing exam preparation and thus helps to bring more effective results.

• MAHA TET Exam consists of 2 papers- papers 1 and 2 for primary and upper primary teachers, respectively
• There will be 150 multiple-choice questions in both papers
• Each question carries 1 mark, making the total exam score 150
• There are no criteria for negative marking for wrong answers

Paper 1

MAHA TET-Paper 1 is to be conducted for candidates interested in being hired for teacher posts for classes 1st to 5th. The objective-type test will consist of 150 questions that need to be attempted in 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Paper 2

Those appearing for MAHA TET Paper-2 for classes 6th to 8th will be attempting 150 MCQs for 150 marks in a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. The detailed exam pattern is provided below.

MAHA TET Passing Marks 2026

To qualify for the MAHA TET Exam, candidates must have to score a minimum qualifying mark as set by the exam authority. There is no negative marking in the exam.

A total of 103 Bengali medium candidates are going to appear for the MAHA TET exam, with exam centres located in Pune and Chandrapur districts. For the Kannada medium, 1,018 candidates have been allotted across three exam centres — Thane (72 candidates), Solapur (634 candidates), and Sangli (312 candidates). Meanwhile, 49 Telugu medium candidates have been allotted an exam in Pune (24 candidates) and Thane (25 candidates).
