Karnataka Police Constable Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2026

Karnataka Police Constable Syllabus 2026 has been released by the Karnataka State Police. The written examination mainly tests the candidate's knowledge about General Knowledge, Mental Ability and General Awareness. Along with the written examination, candidates must also clear the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) to qualify for the final selection.

Karnataka Police Selection Process 2026

Candidates who want to become a police constable in Karnataka, then they must go through multiple stages of the selection process, such as a written exam, PET, PST and document verification.

Written Exam: Written exam consists of 100 questions for 100 marks. In the written test, there is a 0.25 extra mark deducted for each wrong answer.

PET/PST: Candidates who qualified for the written exam will be called for the PET/PST. Through this test recruiting authority will test the physical fitness of the candidates. The running parameter for male candidates is 1600 meters, and for female candidates, 400 meters. Apart from running, there are long jump, high jump and shot put.
