Age Limit

IRDAI AM Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection of candidates for Assistant Manager posts will be based on the prelims exam, mains exam (descriptive examination), and interview. The Phase 1 exam is qualifying in nature and will be conducted to shortlist eligible candidates for Phase II - Descriptive Examination. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the combined score obtained by the candidates in Phase II - Descriptive Examination and Interview.

- The IRDAI Assistant Manager Mains exam (descriptive type) comprises 3 papers. Papers I, II, and III.

IRDAI Assistant Manager Salary 2026
The appointed candidate for Assistant Manager posts will be paid a basic salary of Rs. 44,500/- per month in the scale of Rs. 44500-2500(4)-54500-2850(7)-74450-EB-2850(4)-85850-3300(1)- 89150 (17 years). Along with the monthly stipend, candidates will be offered other allowances, like Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Qualification Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Grade Allowance, and other perquisites as approved from time to time, etc. At present, the starting monthly gross emoluments for an Assistant Manager are approximately Rs. 1,46,000/-.
