How to Apply for Indian Army 36 FAD Recruitment 2022?

The candidates will have to forward the application properly sealed, in an envelope to the address mentioned against the post applied for, through Ordinary Post / Registered Post / Speed Post. Application in person will not be accepted. Candidates are requested to superscribe the words “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _____________________” on the top of envelope while sending the application form. The last date of receipt of application is 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News i.e by 01st July 2022. 

Documents to be attached with Application Form

The photocopy of the following documents/certificates to be attached along with the application duly self-attested:-

(a) Two passport size latest photographs duly self-attested, one on the right corner of the application and one on the Acknowledgement Card.

(b) Attested copies of the following certificates will also be submitted with the application:-

(i) Education Qualification Certificate.

(ii) Date of Birth Certificate

(iii) Caste Certificate where applicable.

(iv) Discharge certificate for Ex-Serviceman or NOC from the competent authority for serving Defence Personnel who are completing the prescribed period of Army Services within a year from the last date for receiving application.

(c) Medical certificate (format attached) issued by Central / State Government medical board consisting of at least three members out of which at least one shall be a specialist in the particular field for assessing locomotor/cerebral/visual/hearing disability and certifying the percentage of disability (i.e. 40% and above).

(d) Self-addressed envelope affixing postal stamps of Rs 25/-

Indian Army 36 FAD Age Limit

The candidates should fall in the age limit of 18 to 25 years for applying for the post of Tradesman Mate, Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Fireman, MTS (Gardener), MTS (Messenger), and Draughtsman. 

The age limit to apply for Material Assistant is 18 to 27 years.

Physical Requirement for Fireman

(i) Height without shoes 165 cms

(ii) Chest (unexpanded) 81.5 cms 

(iii) Chest (expanded) 85 cms

(iv) Weight-50 Kgs

Indian Army 36 FAD Selection Process

The candidates will be selected for Indian Army 36 FAD posts through Physical Test/ PET (wherever applicable) and Online Test (written test). Indian Army 36 FAD Recruitment Exam Pattern 

The standard of questions will be of matriculation / Intermediate / Graduation as applicable. 

Physical Test for Tradesman Mate

(i) Run - 1.5 Km in 6 min. (ii) Endurance test with a weight of 50 Kg sandbag to a distance of 200 meters in 100 seconds.

Physical Endurance Test for Fireman

(i) Run - 1.6 Km in 6 min. (ii) Carrying a man of 63.5 Kgs to a distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds. (iii) Clearing 2.7 mtrs wide ditch & landing on both feet (long jump). (iv) Climbing 3 meters vertical rope using both hands and feet

Typing Test for LDC

The candidates qualifying in the written test will be called for Typing proficiency (English typing @ 35 words per minute on the computer or Hindi typing @ 30 words per minute corresponding to 10500 /9000 Key Depression Per Hour (KDPH) on an average of 5 key depressions for each word)
