To apply for the post of Specialist Officer in the IT stream, candidates must make sure they fulfill the required eligibility criteria. The criteria in terms of educational qualification and age limit have been discussed below.

All qualifications must be from a university/institution/board recognised by the Government of India or approved by regulatory bodies. Candidates must satisfy one of the following:

IBPS SO IT Officer Salary 2026

Specialist Officers in the IT stream join at Officer Scale I and draw a structured pay package comprising a fixed basic pay plus variable allowances and perquisites. The basic pay is Rs. 48,480, and candidates will also be provided Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, and other bank-specific benefits “as per rules of the Participating Bank in force from time to time.
