Lokrakshak Recruitment Board (LRB) has announced 13591 vacancies for the posts of Police Constable, Sub Inspector, Jailer Group-2, Jail Sepoy Posts for PSI and Lokrakshak Cadre out of which 12733 vacancies are for Constable posts. Thousands of male and female candidates have submitted their applications for the recruitment of Constables in the Gujarat Police Department. The online registration process ended on 23rd December 2025, and now the Gujarat Police Constable Exam Date 2026 Notice will be released soon on www.ojas.gujarat.gov.in.
Gujarat Police Constable Exam Date 2026
The first stage of the selection process is the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) followed by the written examination. The exam dates for all stages will be announced by the Lokrakshak Recruitment Board (LRB) on its official website www.ojas.gujarat.gov.in through an official notice. Once released, the updates will be shared below.

LRB Gujarat Police Constable Bharti Selection Process 2026
The candidates have to go through the following stages to get selected for the post of Gujarat Police Constable-
- Physical Standard Test (PST)

Gujarat Police Constable Physical Standard Test (PST)
Gujarat Police Physical Standard Test checks whether you meet the physical standard as set by the exam authority. The PET tests the candidate's height and chest measurement.

Gujarat Police Constable Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Gujarat Police Physical Efficiency Test includes the running test in a specified period. It is qualifying in nature.

Gujarat Police Constable Exam Pattern 2026
The exam pattern for the Gujarat Police Constable Exam 2026 includes a total of 200 questions for 200 marks.
- The questions will be of an Objective-type multiple-choice question
- For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded.
- There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
- The duration of exam is 3 hours (180 minutes).
