CG SET Exam 2026 ( CG State Eligibility Test) will be conducted for 19 subjects, and to start the preparation for the exam, candidates must first understand the syllabus as well as the exam pattern. The CG SET exam consists of two papers, i.e., Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is a common paper for all candidates, while Paper 2 is subject-specific. CG SET Exam Pattern 2026

The CG SET exam has two levels, Paper 1 and Paper 2. To ace the examination, candidates appearing for this exam should have the right knowledge about the exam pattern. The exam pattern of the CG SET 2026 Exam is as follows:

Qualifying Marks

For candidates in the General category, the minimum qualifying aggregate is 40% in both Paper I and Paper II. For candidates from reserved categories, including SC, ST, OBC, and PwD, the qualifying aggregate is set at 35% in both papers.
