Who is Eligible to Apply for PFRDA Grade A 2026 exam?

Candidates who are willing to apply for the PFRDA Recruitment 2026 must go through the PFRDA Grade A Eligibility Criteria 2026 as specified by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority. Educational Qualification 

The Educational Qualification required varies as per the posts. The detailed educational qualifications required post-wise are discussed below- 

1. General: Master’s Degree in any discipline or Bachelor’s Degree in Law or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or ACA/ FCA from ICAI or ACS/ FCS from ICSI or ACMA/ FCMA from ICMAI (erstwhile AICWA/ FICWA from ICWAI) or CFA from CFA Institute.

2. Actuary: Graduation from a recognised University / Institute AND Pass or exemption in all Seven (07) 'Core Principles' subjects of the Institute of Actuaries of India (lAl) Examination.

3. Research: Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Economics/ Commerce/ Business Administration (Finance)/ Econometrics.

4. Official Language (Rajbhasha): Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level or Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/ English/ Economics/ Commerce with Hindi as a subject at Bachelor’s Degree level from a recognised University/ Institute.

Age Limit (as on 31/07/2026)

The candidate who will be applying for the post should not exceed the maximum age limit, i.e., 30 years. Candidate must have been born on or after August 01, 1996.

Age Relaxation is provided in the upper age limit as per the government norms.

PFRDA Grade A Selection Process 2026

To complete the PFRDA Grade A Recruitment 2026, candidates have to follow a selection process specified by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority. PFRDA Grade A 2026 Exam Pattern 

The PFRDA Grade A Phase 1 exam is qualifying and consists of two online papers, each of 100 marks. There is a 1/4th negative marking for incorrect answers. To move to Phase 2, you have to meet separate cut-offs for each paper and the overall cut-off.
