GATE Admit Card 2023 Out: IIT Kanpur has released the GATE 2023 Admit Card at the official website www.gate.iitk.ac.in. The students who have applied for the GATE 2023 exam can now check their GATE admit card/hall ticket on GATE official website. GATE Admit Card 2023 is the mandatory document that is to be carried to appear for the GATE 2023 Exam. Steps to Download GATE 2023 Admit Card

As GATE Admit Card will be released by IIT Kharagpur on its official website https://gate.iitkgp.ac.in/, the applicants who have filled their application form for GATE 2023 can download their GATE Admit Card 2023 through the following steps:

Step-1 Visit the GATE official website at https://gate.iitkgp.ac.in/

Step-2 On the home page, click on “Login” under the GATE Admit Card section.  

Step-3 Enter your Enrollment ID/Email address & password in the login section.

Step-4 Evaluate the arithmetic expression & enter the answer in the box.

Step-5 Click on the “Submit” button.

Step-6 GATE Admit Card 2023 appears on the screen.

Step-7 Download and save the GATE 2023 admit card and take a printout to be carried while appearing for the exam

The GATE Admit Card 2023 will have the following details mentioned on it, the candidates are requested to cross-check the details as soon they download their GATE 2023 Admit Card:

1. Candidate’s Name
2. Registration Number/Roll Number
3. GATE 2023 Paper Code
4. Examination Centre Code
5. Name and address of the exam centre
6. Date and day of the exam

8. Candidate’s Photograph and Signature

In case, any detail on the admit card is not legible or incorrect, the candidates must immediately inform their zonal centre. It must be done on an urgent basis as candidates with unclear information on their admit cards will not be allowed to appear in the exam.

In case the candidates forget their enrollment ID and password, no need to worry, you can retrieve it by following the below steps.

1. Click on “Forgot Enrollment ID or Password”
2. The registered mobile number will have to be submitted by the candidates.
3. The enrollment ID/Password will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email ID.

What to carry along with GATE 2023 Admit Card?

Candidates must carry a valid photo identity proof along with the hard copy of the GATE Admit Card 2023. The list of the Photo IDs acceptable is mentioned below:

GATE 2023 Exam Day Guidelines

The candidates have to follow the GATE 2023 Exam Day Guidelines are announced by the exam conducting authority in order to carry forward the exam in a smooth way.

1. Candidates must reach the examination centre around an hour before their shift timing for the GATE 2023 exam.

2. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre after the time mentioned on the GATE admit card.

3. Candidates must carry a hard copy of their GATE admit card 2023 and valid ID proof along with them.

4. The candidate will be allowed to leave the examination centre only after the exam is concluded.

5. Candidates should not carry any electronic devices such as mobile phones, watches and more are allowed inside the examination centres.

6. The candidates may be provided with virtual scientific calculators for calculations.

7. Scribble pads will be provided for rough work. The candidates will have to mention their name and GATE registration number on the scribble pad before it is used. At the end of the exam, the scribble pad has to be returned to the invigilator.
