ASRB NET 2026 Eligibility
ASRB NET Eligibility criteria include age limit, educational qualifications, and nationality. The candidates who want to apply for Lecturers / Assistant Professors posts must go through the eligibility criteria discussed below-

ASRB NET Application Form 2026
The ASRB (Agricultural Scientist Research Board) conducts the ASRB NET or ICAR NET exam once every year. To appear for the exam, candidates have to apply via online mode and submit their duly filled application form along with the required application fee before the due date. Steps to Apply for ASRB NET 2026
Interested candidates who are going to take the exam must read the process of registration of the application form.
- Use the application form link available on the official website https://www.asrb.org.in.
- In the application form, select whether you are applying for NET, ARS, SMS (T-6), or STO (T-6), or any combination of these.
- If you choose ARS/SMS (T-6)/STO (T-6), you must indicate your preference order. This choice cannot be changed later.
- Enter the personal details- Name, father's name, Aadhar card etc.
- Submit the required documents, Mater's degree, photo, sign etc.
- Pay the application fee and save the application form.

- National Eligibility Test- Candidates have to clear only one paper of the relevant discipline.
- ARS, SMS (T-6), and STO (T-6)- The selection process will be based on the marks obtained on Mains and Interview

ARS, SMS (T-6) and STO (T-6)
There are 3 stages in ARS, SMS and STO, Prelims, mains and Interviews. The Prelims is a qualifying exam with 150 questions for 150 marks, and there is a 1/3 negative marking for wrong answers. Those who qualify will be called for the mains of 300 marks. After clearing the Mains, candidates will be invited for a 45-mark interview.
