The Assam Public Service Commission Combined Competitive Examination is conducted to recruit applicants for a variety of civil service positions in Assam, including those in the Assam Administrative Services, Assam Police Service, and other allied services. The Examination procedure has several steps, including Preliminary Exams, Main Exams, and Personal Interviews to ensure that only the eligible candidates are chosen.

The Assam Public Service Commission Combined Competitive Examination (APSC CCE) Notification for the 2025 session will be available soon at the official website www.apsc.nic.in. Along with the announcement, the commission will make available the application form. For further notification, you can visit their website (www.apsc.nic.in). Candidates who qualify the prelims exam are eligible for the mains exam. The CCE mains exam is only conducted in Guwahati.  Candidates must fill out the application form properly regarding the post they want to apply for as there are various posts such as Assam Civil Service, Assam Land & Revenue Service, Inspector of Taxes, etc. 

APSC CCE 2025 Exam Summary

The Combined Competitive Examination exam is conducted by the Assam Public Service Commission every year. It includes various posts like District Transport Officer, Superintendent of Taxes, Assam Civil Service, Assam Police Service, etc. APSC has set some specific criteria for the exam. CCE is conducted in 3 stages: prelims exam, mains exam, and interview. Candidates should also have the nationality of India. APSC CCE Application Fee

The application fee for various categories is as follows: For General/EWS candidates, the fee is Rs. 297.20. SC/ST candidates are required to pay Rs. 197.20. For other categories the fee is tabulated below

Steps to Apply for APSC Combined Competitive Examination

Candidates who want to apply for the APSC CCE Exam must follow these steps-

1. Visit the official website of Assam Public Service Commission.
2. On the home page. click on the link “Online Recruitment Portal”
3. After clicking, scroll down the page and click on the Register Tab to start the registration process
4. Enter your personal details, name, mobile, email and other required details.
5. After filling out these details, click to generate One time Password (OTP).
6. Enter the OTP and complete the registration process.
7. When your registration is completed, you can log in to the portal using your email and password.
8. Now fill all the details such as, educational. personal and upload the required documents.
9. Pay the application fees and save your application for future use.

APSC CCE 2025 Eligibility

Applicants should thoroughly check the eligibility requirements to ensure they qualify before proceeding with their applications as APSC has set specific eligibility criteria for the CCE exam which include age limits, nationality, and education qualification. APSC CCE has certain criteria for the candidates such as , they must have nationality of India, graduation degree holders and being between the ages of 21 to 38 years.

Education Qualification- Candidates must be graduated degree holders and qualifications vary from post to post.

Age Limit- The age limit set by the APSC is 21 to 38 years, the candidates between this age group can apply.

Age Relaxation- candidates from reserved categories are granted an age relaxation like 41 years for OBC, 43 years for SC/ST, and 48 for PWD. 

Nationality- The candidate must hold citizenship of India only.

APSC will conduct three stage of examinations to select candidates for various posts to be released this year. 

1. Preliminary exam
2. Mains Exam
3. Interview

APSC CCE 2025 Exam Pattern

1. The prelims exam is an objective-type exam
2. The exam consists of two papers; General Studies-I and General Studies-II
3. The duration of each paper is 2 hours
4. The marks obtained in the prelims are not counted for final selection but are considered for shortlisting candidates for the mains exam.
