APPSC ASO Exam 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for APPSC ASO Recruitment 2026, candidates must be aware of the minimum required eligibility creteria in terms of educational qualification and age limit.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the main subjects. OR
- Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics (with Statistics as a paper in one year or two years or all three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects. OR
- Bachelor’s Degree with Economics (with Statistics as a paper in one year or two years or all three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects. OR
- Bachelor’s Degree with Commerce (with Statistics as a paper in one year or two years or all three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects. OR
- Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Science (with Statistics as a paper in one year or two years or all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects.
From a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or State Act or such institutions declared as deemed to be Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commissions Act, 1956 or a foreign University approved by the Central Government from time to time.
Age Limit (As on 02/11/2026)
Candidates must be between 18 years and 44 years to be eligible for the APPSC ASO Exam 2026.

AP Government Upper Age Limit Increased to 44 Years
The Government of Andhra Pradesh has increased the upper age limit for direct recruitment to Non-Uniform Services from 42 years to 44 years. As per G.O.Ms.No.187 released on 14 September 2026, the relaxation has been extended up to 30 September 2027. The revised age limit will apply to recruitments conducted through APPSC and other recruiting agencies.
