APPSC Assistant Executive Engineer Selection Process 2026

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has set a three-stage selection process for this recruitment. Candidates aspiring to get selected are to first appear for a CBT exam. After qualifying, they have to appear for the computer proficiency test, followed by document verification. The selection stages of this recruitment are given below:

1. Computer Based Test: This is the first stage of the selection process, which is conducted in an objective format. Candidates must qualify at this stage to move to the next recruitment stage. Marks obtained in this stage determine the final merit of the candidate.
2. Computer Proficiency Test: Candidates are required to take the CPT as part of the selection process. The CPT is a practical computer skills test lasting 60 minutes, carrying 100 marks. The qualifying marks are 30 for SC/ST/PBD, 35 for BC, and 40 for OC candidates.
3. Document Verification: In this stage, candidates need to get their educational and category certificates, age proof, local residence certificate, and photo ID proof verified.

APPSC AEE Exam Pattern 2026

Candidates preparing for the APPSC AEE written exam must understand the structure of the exam. The written exam has three papers: General Studies & Mental Ability, Civil & Mechanical (Common Paper), and Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering. APPSC AEE Exam Pattern 2026 is discussed below:

• The APPSC AEE written exam will be MCQ-based.
• Candidates get 150 minutes for each paper.
• Each paper carries 150 questions, so in total there are 450 questions.
• For every wrong answer, 0.33 marks are deducted.
• With each correct answer, candidates get +1 mark.
