The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has released an official notification for Junior Executive & Manager posts, inviting graduates and post graduates to apply. Through this recruitment, 389 vacancies are to be recruited for various disciplines, like civil engineering, electrical engineering, fire services, law, finance, and more.

The selection of eligible candidates suitable for the job will be done through a computer-based test (CBT) followed by an interview/physical exam (as applicable post-wise).

AAI Application Fee 2026
Candidates are required to pay the prescribed application fee of Rs. 1000/- while submitting the online application form. The fee will be paid through an online payment gateway through debit cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), credit cards, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards/mobile wallets.
Candidates from SC, ST, PwBD, Women candidates, and AAI Apprentices who have completed 1 year of apprenticeship training in AAI are exempted from paying the application fee.

- For the posts of Manager (Airport Operations) and Junior Executive (Airport Operations), a light motor vehicle licence is important. A temporary license will not be accepted
- Candidates shortlisted for the post of Manager (Fire Services) shall be required to produce a valid permanent light motor vehicle licence
- Candidates applying for Manager (Fire Services) must qualify the Physical Endurance Test (PET), which includes running, casualty carrying (lifting and carrying a sandbag), pole climbing, rope climbing, and full ladder climbing & descending.
AAI Junior Executive Exam Structure 2026
The AAI Junior Executive Exam will be conducted for a total of 150 marks, and candidates have to complete the exam in 2 hours. There is no negative marking on the exam. The computer-based test will be bilingual i.e., Hindi and English, except for the language test.

AAI Junior Executive & Manager Salary
Candidates appointed as junior executives are entitled to several allowances and benefits, including Dearness Allowance (DA), Perks at 35% of the Basic Pay, House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other admissible allowances. The approximate CTC for the post of Junior Executive would be Rs.14 lakhs per annum and for the post of Manager would be Rs. 21 lakhs per annum.
