CTET Answer Key 2024 Paper 1 and 2
The CTET Examination 2024 was held on 21st January 2024 in Pen and Paper mode for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each paper consisted of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). It’s important to note that for the CTET 2024 Exam, candidates will be given 01 mark for each correct answer, and there will be no negative marking for wrong answers. Steps to Download CTET Answer Key 2024
In this article, we have shared the easy steps through which candidates can chcek and download the CTET Answer Key from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) official website.
Step 1: Visit the official site of the CBSE Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) at www.ctet.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage click on the link that reads “CTET Answer Key 2024” to check your Scanned images of OMR sheet and answer key.
Step 3: Enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth as per the admission certificate.
Step 4: CTET Answer Key along with the correct response appears on the screen after clicking on “Login”.
Step 5: Download and take a printout of the CTET 2023 Answer Key and OMR Sheet for papers 1 and 2 and cross-check their Answers.
CTET Answer Key 2024 Raise Objection
If candidates identify any discrepancies in the CTET Answer Key, they can challenge the provisional answer key from 7th to 10th February 2024 (11:59 pm). Candidates need to submit their objection along with valid justification with a nominal fee and are required to submit their challenge within the stipulated period. A fee of Rs. 1000/- per question is required to be submitted through a credit/debit card. The fee once paid is non-refundable.
Steps to Raise Objection CTET Raise Objection
- Visit the official website of the CBSE Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) at www.ctet.nic.in.
- Click on ‘Candidate Activity’ that appears on the homepage and click on the link that reads, “Submit Key Challenge (CTET January-2024)”.
- A new login page will appear on the screen where candidates are required to enter their application number and date of birth.
- CTET Answer Key PDF will open on the screen. Click on ‘Click on Raise Objection’ to challenge the CTET Answer Key 2023.
- Enter details of those questions whose answers are incorrect, along with supporting documents.
- Candidates have to pay Rs.1000/- per challenge for it and then submit the form.
CTET Exam 2024 Marking Scheme
While cross-checking the CTET Answer Key, candidates should be familiar with the CTET Marking Scheme. As per the CTET marking scheme, 01 mark will be provided for each correct answer and there is no negative marking in the CTET examination.

CTET Exam 2024 Minimum Qualifying Marks
Candidates scoring minimum Qualifying Percentage/ score in the CTET Exam as set by the exam authority will be considered qualified in the CTET Exam 2024. Candidates from the general category will have to score a minimum of 60% (90 marks out of 150) and candidates from OBC, SC, ST, and PwD are required to score a minimum of 50% (82 marks out of 150).
