CSIR NET Dec 2023- Exam Summary

CSIR UGC NET Exam will be conducted on 26th, 27th, and 28th December 2023. The CSIR UGC NET Exam Date 2023 is announced on the official website and we have updated all the important dates related to the application process, exam date, admit card release, result, and more in the below table.

CSIR NET Application Form 2023

CSIR UGC NET application form has been released on the official website from 01st to 30th November 2023 (5:00 p.m.). Candidates can submit their application form with a late fee till 30th November 2023 (11:59 p.m.). The CSIR NET Application Form have to fill by candidates in two parts – Registration and Application. The applicants holding the required eligibility criteria have to fill CSIR NET Application Form.

For an applicant to appear in the CSIR NET 2023 examination has to follow the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

CSIR NET 2023 Exam Pattern

The CSIR UGC NET 2023 exam will be conducted in an online mode with objective-type multiple-choice questions being asked from the subject chosen by candidates. Have a look at the CSIR NET 2023 exam pattern overview from the below table.

For each subject, the test would consist of three parts for which the detailed CSIR UGC NET Exam Scheme has been discussed below- 

1. Each exam will be conducted for a total of 200 marks.
2. There will be three sections - Part A, Part B and Part C in each exam.
3. The marking system for each exam differs. We have provided the exam pattern for each exam below.

CSIR NET 2023 Admit Card 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the CSIR NET Admit Card  two weeks before the examination. The CSIR NET Admit Card will be available on the official website along with the details for the exam day. The candidates can download their CSIR NET 2023 Admit Card by following the steps mentioned below-

Step 1: Visit the official website of CSIR NET.
Step 2: Select the ‘CSIR NET Admit Card Download’. Type in your credentials like Application No. and Date of Birth/Password.
Step 3: Click on the submit button and the applicant's CSIR Admit card will be available.
Step 4: Download the admit card and take 1 or 2 printouts for further use.

CSIR NET 2023 Answer Key

Once the exams are conducted, NTA will release the provisional answer key on its website. Candidates will get an opportunity to challenge this answer key. And to do so the candidate has to pay Rs. 1000 per challenged question. After reviewing these challenges, NTA will release the final answer key on its website. You cannot challenge this final CSIR NET Answer Key in any manner whatsoever. 

CSIR NET 2023 Result

Candidates will be given fellowship as per the CSIR merit list. Only those candidates who will obtain the cut off will be eligible for the final merit list. NTA will publish two separate merit lists on its website for the result of JRF and Lectureship respectively. Candidates who qualify in the JRF merit list will also be eligible for the Lectureship/Assistant Professor fellowship. As per the notification, there shall be no re-evaluation of the CSIR NET result. CSIR UGC NET Cut Off 2023

CSIR NET Cut off 2023 will be released by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) along with the UGC NET Result. The cutoff marks have been released subject-wise and category-wise separately for the Joint CSIR UGC NET for each session separately.
